Shaikh Khalid receives China’s Ambassador
Manama : The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bahrain, Qi Zhenhong yesterday.
The Minister welcomed the Ambassador, and reviewed with him the growing friendly relations between Bahrain and China. The meeting also discussed investment in both the countries to enhance cooperation at all fields and serve the interests of both countries. Shaikh Khalid commended the efforts exerted by the Chinese Ambassador, wishing him further success. For his part, Qi Zhenhong expressed China’s pride of the special relations with Bahrain, and its keenness to develop these relations into wider horizons. He also wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
