Loohuis downs Rahul Jaideep in Q-finals
Manama : Youngster Rahul Jaideep went down fighting against Bas Loohuis, who won 6-4, 5-7, 10-4 in the men’s singles quarter finals on the seventh day of The 68th Indian Club Y.K.Almoayyed Open Tennis Ramadan Tournament at its premises in Gudaibiya.
In veterans action, Somnathan of Indian Club defeated Pradeep Nathoo 6-2, 5-7, 10-5, while another Indian Club player Uday Shambaug beat Filipino Teddy Rebara 6-2, 2-6, 11-9.
In other veteran matches, V.V. Mohan received a walkover win from Gery Toledo and Lester Ferrao beat V.V. Mohan 6-2, 3-6, 10-8 after the latter had earlier received a walkover win in the second round.
