Isa Town school work on schedule
Manama : Phase 2 work of the Isa Town Primary Intermediate School for Boys, as part of the Gulf Fund Programme, has commenced, said Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Works Affairs Undersecretary Ahmed Al Khayyat.
Phase 1 of the project, which includes a four storey school building capable of accommodating 1050 students in about 35 classrooms, was completed last year. Students were also shifted to new building by the education ministry.
The project includes multi-purpose laboratories for science, computer, home science and the library, as well as offices for the teaching and administrative faculty, and sports hall.
The project design also accommodates students and staff with special needs. Sustainability and green buildings factors have also been implemented in the project.
