King Hamad hails Egypt’s call for joint action

Cairo His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday wrapped up a visit to Egypt, where he held talks with President Abel Fattah El-Sisi on enhancing bilateral relations and latest regional and global developments.

During the visit, HM the King stressed that the Egyptian President’s accurate diagnosis of the current situation and his call for joint Pan-Arab action will have a deep impact in overcoming the dangers and challenges faced by the Arab Nations.

“This reflects President El-Sisi’s honest fraternal feelings of which we are proud, and affirms the robust fraternal relations between our countries and brotherly people,” HM the King said.

King Hamad also sent a cable to the Egyptian President expressing thanks and appreciation for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to him throughout his stay.

HM King Hamad was seen off at the airport by President El-Sisi, Interior Minister and Head of the Royal Convoy of Honour, Mohammed Yahya Rashid, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and staff of the Kingdom’s Embassy in Cairo.
