Seafronts key to tourism
Manama : Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Essam Khalaf yesterday stressed the ministry’s support to improve seafronts, which are significant in making the Kingdom an important touristic destination.
The minister said this while meeting the Chief Executive to Bahrain Bay Company Ghaghan Suri, Bahrain Bay Development Director Ken Sweeni and Bahrain Bay Associate Manager Shaima Noor Al Dein. Chairman of the Central Planning Office Dominic Mc Polin was also present. The meeting reviewed various seafront plans in Bahrain and shed light on the Bahrain Bay Company’s development plans.
Khalaf stated that the Ministry continues to support the development of Bahrain Bay out of its belief in the importance of partnership with the private sector.
