Manama : Parents of the newborn baby, who was facing passport hurdles, are finally at ease as they leave for India tomorrow for emergency treatment.

The newnorn baby, admitted to Salmaniya Medical Complex paediatric intensive care unit, was born with a congenital heart disease and has to undergo a major heart surgery.

“We are travelling to India (Chennai) on June 12 for our boy’s surgery. The surgery is going to be held at the Lifeline Hospital in Chennai,” Ahmed Saleh, father of the child, told DT News, thanking each and every person who donated generously for the boy’s treatment.

DT News had reported the plight of the cash-strapped parents seeking financial aid to save the child. Though the parents faced passport hurdles it was later solved.
