Bahraini dies while exercising
Manama : A Bahraini man died while exercising in Hamad Town in the Northern Governorate, adding to the list of sudden death victims in the Kingdom this year.
Salman Mansour collapsed when he suffered a cardiac arrest while exercising near Roundabout 4 in Hamad Town on Friday evening.
Bystanders attempted to revive him failed and paramedics announced him dead on the spot.
At least seven people passed away in public places this year while engaged in different sporting activities. This comes amidst calls to increase first-aid awareness and training among citizens and residents.
The deceased was buried yesterday in Buri Graveyard in the Northern Governorate. Family members announced that condolences could be offered in Imam Ali Maatam (community centre) and Al Rawda Maatam for women in the same village.
