Extremism has no place in society: Crown Prince

Manama  : Bahrain is committed to the principles of modernism and pluralism, which has protected the Bahraini society from all acts of extremism, said His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. 

Prince Salman while visiting the Majlises of HM King’s Adviser for Media Affairs, Nabeel Alhamer, Kanoo family and Al Jishi and Al Khuza’ai families stressed that strong bonds exist in the Bahraini society, which underpins the nation’s commitment to the principles of modernism and pluralism.  HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa accompanied HRH the Crown Prince during the visits.

“Modern societies have consistently rejected all acts of extremism and unholy attempts to politicise religions,” said Prince Salman adding that he is confident that the “conflict between moderation and extremism will see the defeat of extremism”.

The Crown Prince then highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to facilitating investment opportunities that deliver high-value opportunities for citizens and significant economic
returns.

HRH also noted that Bahrain is currently targeting growth in key economic sectors, including tourism, financial services, IT, logistics and manufacturing sectors, emphasising that the principles of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 support private sector entrepreneurship.

The Crown Prince highlighted that Bahrain remains deeply proud of its long-standing and distinguished role in supporting Bahrain’s youth and entrepreneurs.
