Deputy Prime Minister meets real estate developers, investors

ManamaDeputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa held a meeting with Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf, real estate developers and officials yesterday.

The meeting was held to inform them about the mechanism of levying the cost of infrastructure development in the urban areas.

The sustainability of the infrastructure will not be achieved unless the cost of construction is levied by investors, Shaikh Khalid told the visitors.

The deputy PM said many countries preceded Bahrain in the enforcement of the levying the cost of infrastructure development.
