National Guard distributes Iftar meals
Manama : National Guard soldiers have lined up shortly before the time of the call for al-Maghreb prayer at sunset to distribute Iftar meals to drivers and passengers in Seef district.
The initiative comes within the National Guard community partnership yearly implemented in embodiment of the principle of cooperation and cohesive bonds with the society to achieve optimal interaction with citizens and residents.
The yearly initiative was implemented in the midst of security and military duties undertaken by the National Guard, aimed to obtain the divine reward in sharing the joy with those fasting during the blessed month of Ramadan and to comply with the advice of the Prophet (PBUH) to hasten the breaking of the daily fasting.
Citizens and residents welcomed this humanitarian gesture and took pride in the National Guard initiatives that consolidate the community bonds.
