People key to development: Crown Prince
Manama : Empowering Bahraini youth remains central to the Kingdom in devising comprehensive development strategies, said His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
“This has been implemented practically via a number of programmes and initiatives,” said the Crown Prince highlighting government’s commitment to ensuring the skill development of Bahrain’s youth to contribute positively to the national economy.
Prince Salman was visiting the Majlises of Abdulhameed Abduljabbar Al Kooheji and brothers, Al Kooheji family, and the Majlis of the sons of Rashid Abdulrahman Al Zayani.
The Crown Prince went on to note the commitment of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women in ensuring women’s empowerment.
HRH the Crown Prince emphasised that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has prioritised human development, and this has enabled the Kingdom to achieve much in terms of economic development and the protection of the rights of women and children.
The Crown Prince spoke of the importance of human development to the Kingdom’s economy, highlighting the central role that Bahraini citizens continue to play in driving forward its key
sectors.
In this regard, Prince Salman also praised the role of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in implementing programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing youth capabilities.
His Royal Highness emphasised that the Kingdom’s development efforts build on the foundations established by Bahrain’s forefathers continue to be reinforced through the success of Bahrain’s modern and progressive economy.
The Majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the visit of the Crown Prince and praised his support for initiatives designed to empower women and youth within the Kingdom.
