Two held for illegal liquor sale
Manama : Police yesterday announced the arrest of two people for illegal sale of liquor in the Capital.
Capital Governorate Police Director Colonel Khalid Al Thawadi confirmed the arrest in a statement issued here yesterday that “the suspects were of Asian nationalities” and that “they were arrested in Juffair”.
“Investigations led to the suspects’ arrest and confiscation of the alcohol beverages. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution,” Col. Al Thawadi added.
