PRINCE SALMAN MEETS SAUDI CROWN PRINCE
Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday met Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Affairs, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
The meeting took place at the Royal Court in Riyadh during which, Prince Salman extended his best wishes to Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and Prince Mohammed bin Salman on their new appointments.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s congratulations and extended his sincere wishes for the prosperity of Saudi Arabia.
Prince Salman highlighted the strategic and historic ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and noted both countries’ commitment to further boost bilateral relations. He added this strong relationship has helped strengthen collaboration across various areas that serve the strategic goals and interests of both countries.
He further highlighted Saudi Arabia’s important role in the region and wider world, and emphasized Saudi Arabia’s efforts in strengthening intra-GCC ties.
The Crown Prince was accompanied by His Majesty’s Personal Representative, HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and a number of senior Bahraini officials.
Upon his arrival, Prince Salman was received by Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Musaed al Aiban and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Humood bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
