Nasser 10 closing ceremony to be held on Wednesday

Manama : HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has directed the holding of the closing ceremony of the 3rd Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Sports Games “Nasser 10” this Wednesday at the Sofitel Hotel. 

Chairman of the High Organising Committee, Tawfiq Al Salehi affirmed the tremendous success achieved by the event marking its first-decade thanks to the constant support and follow-up of Shaikh Nasser, as well as to the teamwork and collective efforts by the committees involved in organising the event. 

This came during a meeting of the committee to discuss the preparations for the closing ceremony which will be held under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. 

The MCs of the ceremony will be Abu Dhabi Sports Channel newscaster Haitham Al Hammadi and MBC’s Sada Al Mala’eb Show presenter Hind bu Meshmar and the closing ceremony will also feature sports performances by a Russian band as well as by Bahrain’s gymnastic and self-defence teams.  During the event, sponsoring companies, entities that contributed in holding Nasser 10, as well as local media outlets that covered the event, will be recognised and winning teams rewarded.

At the end of the ceremony, the High Organising Committee will present Shaikh Nasser with a souvenir as a token of appreciation.
