Citi and RCO partner for Community Day
Manama : The employees of Citi and Royal Charity Organisation partnered in an event yesterday to celebrate Ramadan by sharing an iftar with children supported by RCO.
The event was held to celebrate the 12th year of Citi’s Global Community Day with over 100 volunteers from Citi Bahrain along with their families and friends getting together at The Prestige Hall in Adhari Park. The Iftar meal was followed by competitions and games for the children.
Citi’s volunteers had also collected close to 300 educational books and handed them over to the children at the end of the event.
Usman Ahmed, Citi’s Head for Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar commented: “The Global Community Day is an important annual event that brings Citi employees, friends and families together alongside our partners in making a positive contribution to the communities we live in.”
Citi celebrates its 12th annual Global Community Day this year with nearly 100,000 employees, family members and friends in 500 cities across 91 countries and territories engaging in service activities in their local communities.
