His Majesty lauds BCCI for promoting trade, commerce

Manama : A tribute was paid to the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for its role in spearheading trade and industry and bolstering the national economy on the regional and international map. 

“The chamber is an active and vital partner in the national development”, said His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, commending the efforts of the private sector to bolster national economic competitiveness on the international level. 

His Majesty, the King commended the trade community as he received, at Al-Safriya Palace, BCCI board members, led by Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Almoayyed, who submitted the 2016 BCCI annual report. 

His Majesty, the King reiterated full support to the trade and economic sector to continue its active  participation so as to bolster national economy which earned regional and international confidence, attracting investments, projects, thanks to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s standing as a strategic hub on the map of world commerce. 

HM the King expressed pride in the role of Bahraini traders and businessmen, who spared no effort and worked strenuously to develop the private sector, following the steps of pioneers who laid trade foundations and contributed to Bahrain’s development and progress.

HM the King thanked BCCI chairman and board members, wishing them success to continue their dedicated efforts and active role in spearheading development and progress. 

The traders backed the measures taken to maintain national and regional security and stability and preserve the GCC unity. 

They expressed thanks to HM the King, hailing royal directives and care for the trade and economic sectors. 

They commended the royal support to the chamber and keenness on its role in bolstering the private sector as a key development actor.
