Next This is Bahrain event in Los Angeles

Manama : The next ‘This is Bahrain’ event will be held in Los Angeles, California, USA, under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

In mid-August, ‘This is Bahrain’ Los Angeles, will hold an Exhibition, Dinner and Press Conference to officially launch ‘The Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration’ and ‘The King Hamad Global Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-Existence” which will complement the launch of the King Hamad Chair in Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-Existence at Sapienza University in Rome.

A dinner and press conference will follow the launch which will be attended by representatives from international media, religious leaders, ambassadors, senators, celebrities, and community leaders.

Following the Los Angeles event, the next ‘This is Bahrain’ event will be held here in Bahrain, in mid November 2017. 

During a special ceremony dedicated to the launch of “The King Hamad Global Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue & Peaceful Co-Existence,” “The Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration” will be signed by Heads of State, Religious Leaders and Dignitaries at a special Ceremony to be held here in Manama.

‘The King Hamad Global Centre’ will be a newly built facility on land which is donated by His Majesty The King and will include a Museum to showcase the centuries old legacy of Bahrain’s religious freedom and peaceful–coexistence.

Currently, the construction of the Our Lady of Arabia Cathedral the largest Church ever built on the Arabian Peninsula, is taking place on land donated by His Majesty The King, and will be housed alongside a new Mosque, clear evidence of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s willingness to retain and expand her position as the regions leading light for religious freedom and peaceful co-existence.
