BTC Member’s tournament begins
Manama : In the presence of Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) Vice-President, Mirza Al-Sammak, Sports Committee Director, Khalid Nass and other board members, Algerian Al Akhdar Al’a Eldeen defeated Hassan Al Mutawa in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 on the first day of BTC’s Member Tournament at its premises in Juffair.
The second match played saw Tunisian Kareem Hajjar defeat Isa Al Sammak 6-1, 6-1 as the tournament and matches continue until Friday.
Matches coming up on the schedule will feature Abdul Rahman Janahi against the winner of the match between Kadri Rizk and Khaled Qayoom, with Ahmed Janahi taking on Khalid Nass.
Remaining matches will see Nasser Khonji meeting the winner of the match between Indian Nalan Tenshukaba and Bahraini’s Yousef Al Qaed and Pakistan’s Salman Hassan against India’s Sundara Ram.
