Al Ghanim visits Bahraini champion Sami Al Haddad

Manama : The Vice President of the Bahrain Weightlifting Federation (BWF) Sultan Al Ghanim has visited Bahraini champion Bodybuilder Sami Al-Haddad who continues his preparations for the 2017 IFBB Titan Medical (Tampa) Championship for professionals at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay Beach Hotel from August 3 to 5 in Florida, US.

Al Ghanim was keen to follow up and check on the technical and moral readiness of Haddad and provide the necessary support through BWF general secretary, Tariq Omar and Bodybuilding Committee member Hussain Hayki.

This is one of the most important tournaments and is a qualifier for the 2017 Mister Olympia this September in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.

The 44-year old has won numerous titles over the years with a gold medal won in his weight category in a championship in Zilina, Slovakia last year. 

Al Ghanim commended the continuous support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar.
