Sanad Youth defeat South Sehla

Manama : Sanad Youth Centre defeated South Sehla Youth Centre 3-1 in a Group 5 match, with the Sanad captain Raed Baba adjudged as man of the match on the fourth day of preliminary round matches in the Fifth Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5) on Thursday at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.

In other matches from the same group,  Al Qadisiya and Shakhura played out a 3-3 draw with Al Qadisiya’s Hisham Yousif the man of the match, while Aali edged out Busaiteen 4-3 with Ali Hussain of the victors adjudged man of the match.

Meanwhile, in a Group 6 match Sanabis crushed Isa Town in the final match of the day, with Mohammed Abdul Kareem the man of the match.

The tournament is being played under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under the slogan #Generations_Meeting. The league which started on July 24 and continues until September 14, features 59 teams, divided into 36 youth centres teams, 9 unregistered clubs, 8 teams of people with disabilities institutions and 6 girls teams.

Today sees the final match of the first round of group preliminaries and first three matches to open the second round of preliminaries.
