Minister opens Employment, Training Centre in Sitra
Manama : Directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to the ministers in charge of services ministries to visit Sitra and Nabih Saleh area, inspect its residents’ needs and follow up current services projects there, the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Jameel Mohammed Humaidan, has visited Sitra on Wednesday.
The minister inaugurated the new Employment, Training and Unemployed Insurance Centre in Sitra that provides its services to the citizens and jobseekers in the area.
He met the area MPs, dignitaries and community activists in the island and its neighborly districts. He also met with the citizens and job-seeking beneficiaries at the Centre. He listened to their remarks in order to find the best solutions for them according to applicable rules and regulations.
Humaidan said that opening the new Employment Centre in Sitra comes within context of the government’s provision of optimal quality services in terms of employment, training and boosting the qualifications of jobseekers.
The intake capacity of the new Centre is 1,500 visitors per month. It is located within close proximity and easily accessible to citizens to provide its services more efficiently and comprehensively in the middle of Sitra.
