Tamkeen hosts Mashroo3i youth biz awards expo

Manama : Tamkeen yesterday launched a two-day exhibition to exhibit the business prototypes of the finalists of the ‘Fourth edition of the Mashroo3i Youth Business Awards’. The exhibition, held at the West Wing of Seef Mall – Seef District, concludes today.  

The 30 teams showcase their business prototypes and interact with the public, giving them the opportunity to learn and experience the different business projects created by the participants. 

During the two-day event, Mashroo3i judges will rate the individual teams. The public was also encouraged to visit the stalls and vote for their favourite teams.

The final exhibition will lead to an award ceremony, which will take place on Saturday. During the ceremony, the winners of the first three positions will be announced. 

The judging panel includes Shaikh Hesham Mohamed Al-Khalifa, Sabah Khalil Al Moayyed, Managing Partner of Intellect Resources Management, and Yousef Al Bassam, Head of the Deals Committee in the Saudi Angel Investor Oqal Group. 

The three winning teams will receive support from Tamkeen, and incubation opportunities provided with private sector support as well as local and international internship opportunities in their related fields. Also, nine teams will be honoured across the various award categories.
