Man held for stealing cash from car
Manama : A Bahraini man was arrested yesterday for stealing money from a car in Hamala. The man broke the windows of the parked car, stole BD7,000 and fled the scene. Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science General Director Colonel Abddulaziz Al Rumaihi said in a statement yesterday that the case was reported earlier to the main operations room in Interior Ministry and that investigations led to the suspect.
“The suspect was arrested after the issuance of the necessary permit from the Public Prosecution. The stolen amount and the tool used in breaking the windows were confiscated during the arrest,” Col. Al Rumaihi said, adding that legal proceedings have been undertaken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
