Bahraini arrested for planting Marijuana at home
Manama : A Bahraini man was recently arrested for planting marijuana at his house in Barbar, officials said yesterday.
According to a statement issued by Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science General Director Colonel Abddulaziz Al Rumaihi, the 31-year-old suspect possessed several marijuana plants and seedlings, firearm and ammunition, tools used in planting marijuana and manufacturing narcotics, and a large amount of money.
Col. Al Rumaihi said in the statement that the investigations of anti-narcotics police lead to the arrest of the suspect, who he said “had prepared the place and the environment to make it suitable for the cultivation and manufacturing of drugs using the certain equipment and tools”.
“All evidences were confiscated and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution,” Al Rumaihi added.
