Jidhafs Youth defeat Karranah

Manama : Jidhafs Youth Centre defeated Karranah Youth Centre 5-2 in Group 4 in the latest matches of the Fifth Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5) at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.

The man of the match was Ali Al Alwani for the winning Jidhafs team.

In Group 5 action, South Sehla was a 3-0 winner over Al Qadisiya with Sayed Alawi adjudged the man of the match and in another group match, Aali and Sanad played out a 3-3 draw with Ali Mansoor man of the match from the Aali team.

Al Daih in Group 6 defeated Al Wusta 3-1 with goal keeper Sayed Mohammed the man of the match in the last match played.

Organising committee members and players from the Jidhafs and Karranah teams’ congratulated the National Volleyball Youth Team for winning the Arabian Championship held in Jordan last week and lifted banners before the beginning of their match.

This tournament is being played under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under the slogan #Generations_Meeting.

It started on July 24 and continues until September 14 and features 59 teams, divided into 36 youth centres teams, 9 unregistered clubs, 8 teams of people with disabilities institutions and 6 girls teams.
