Juffair gets new employment centre
Manama : Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel Humaidan, yesterday, opened a new employment and training centre in Juffair, Capital Governorate.
The move is in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to identify the needs of the citizens across the Kingdom. The intake capacity of the new centre is 1,500 visitors per month.
“The centre will enable the Labour and Social Development Ministry to deliver comprehensive services for Capital Governorate’s citizens under one roof,” said Jameel Humaidan.
Services offered by the centre include employment, rehabilitation, professional guidance and counselling, as well as insurance against unemployment.
Consultations for job-seekers, as well as training, in coordination with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) will be provided at the facility which also serves employers.
MPs Abdulrahman Rashid Bumjaid, Ali Hassan Al-Ottaish, Osama Abdulhameed Al-Khaja and Ahmed Abdulwahed Qarata, Deputy Capital Governor, Hassan Abdulla Al-Madani and other dignitaries attended the inauguration ceremony.
