Saar Club crush Al Junoob Youth

Manama : Saar Club defeated Al Junoob Youth Centre 6-2 and remain top of Group 7 in its latest match of the Fifth Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5) at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.

The man of the match was Saleh Hameed for the winning Saar team.

In Group 8 action, Al Ma’ameer Club defeated Al Hamala 6-1  with Hassan Mahmeed the man of the match for the winning team and Eker Club made it a third win for a club over a youth centre after edging out Bu Quwah 4-3 with Mahmood Abdulateef man of the match of the winning team.

In the final match in Group 1, Safra beat Karzakan 2-0 with both goals scored being by the opposition defenders with Safra’s Mohammed Kazerooni the man of the match.

Two players were red carded during the latest action, firstly was Hussain Fathallah of Bu Quwah and Safra’s Mohammed Ghaleb.

Meanwhile, the social media prize allocated for Khalid 5 spectators was awarded to Hamad Mattar Al Saleh who along with thousands of social media users, answered the questions posted on the league’s channels on Instagram and Twitter. The organising committee handed him the award on the sidelines of the matches.

This tournament is being played under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under the slogan #Generations_Meeting.
