Citi Bahrain wins GFH’s award
Manama : For the fifth year in a row, Citi Bahrain has been named winner of the “Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank” award in the first round of Global Finance magazine’s awards for the 2017 World’s Best Digital Banks Awards in the Middle East & Africa.
In country and regional subcategories in Global Finance magazine’s 2017 World’s Best Digital Banks Awards in the Middle East & Africa, Citi has won a total of 26 awards.
A number of Citi franchises won Best Corporate/Institutional Internet Bank Awards in their respective markets. Citi also won in the regional subcategories for Best in Mobile Banking App, Best in Mobile Banking, Most Innovative Digital Bank and Best Online Cash Management.

Winning banks were selected based on the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing digital customers, success in getting clients to use digital offerings, growth of digital customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from digital initiatives, and web/mobile site design and functionality.
