Kingdom keen on raising living standards: Premier
Manama : Nothing could distract the Kingdom from achieving the aspirations of citizens “for better-living standards and growth”, said His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday.
The Premier also stressed that hard work, accomplishment and countering challenges with determination will remain the characteristic features of the current phase.
HRH the Premier was speaking as he received intellectuals, businessmen and citizens yesterday at the Gudaibiya Palace.
The Prime Minister discussed with them local issues as well as regional and international developments, stressing that the Royal Directives to boost citizens’ welfare are the government’s approach to cater for citizens’ aspirations.
Underlining government’s keenness to reach out to the needs of the citizens of Bahrain, the Premier said that the government is looking forward to further improve the quality of health services in the Kingdom by setting up health centres and hospitals with cutting edge technologies.
The Premier also emphasised government’s efforts to promote the Kingdom’s tourism sector and hailed the efforts of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in serving pilgrims and facilitating performance of the Hajj rituals.
