CBA held open trials, registrations
Manama : Cricket Bahrain Association (CBA) under patronage of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has held its open trials and registration for Bahrain Under-19 National Cricket Team for the ICC Asia Western Region Tournament to be held in Kuwait from October 8 to 21.
These trials/practice and fitness sessions began at Alba Club Cricket Academy, Sanad Riffa, under the National Coaches and Selection Panel from August 22 and a total of 55 players registered for the trials and more are expected to join after summer vacations.
The selection is based on ICC/ACC criteria which mandates players born on or after 1.09.1998 either Bahraini Nationality or born in Bahrain or 7 year or above residency in Bahrain.
Apart from age verification approval will based on medical test T3 bone age verification by ACC, players fitness, performance in school tournament’s and performance shown during the camp and practice matches.
