Ministers urged to strengthen governorates

ManamaHis Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has directed all ministers and their respective government departments to coordinate with governors and strengthen governorates to activate community partnerships. 

Chairing the regular weekly Cabinet session at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, HRH Premier urged the ministers to support the government’s efforts to improve citizen-oriented services by identifying the needs of the citizens in governorates and deliver prompt services.

Recalling his recent visit to the Southern Governorate, HRH Premier also urged ministries and government departments to ensure optimal management of resources, especially those directly related to the citizens’ welfare so that they receive them without delay. In this context, HRH Prime Minister has instructed the Health Ministry to provide facilities and equipment to reduce the waiting period for medical check-ups and treatment.

Motivate students

HRH the Prime Minister said that the educational institutions should always be motivated to create better conditions for students and attain outstanding achievements so that the future citizens can serve the nation better.The stimulating school environment should foster creativity among students and improve the quality and output to take the education march forward, HRH the Prime Minister added.

Referring to a memorandum presented by the Minister of Education, in which he highlighted the Ministry’s preparations for the new school year and the development projects to be implemented, HRH the Prime Minister congratulated the students and the administrative and teaching staff on the academic year 2017-2018, and wished them every success, lauding the fruitful efforts exerted by the Education Ministry – Minister, affiliates and heads of educational and academic institutions - to serve the march of education in Bahrain.

Development 

Tackling development issues, HRH Premier gave instructions to service ministries to visit the Hoora and Gudaibiya regions, identify their needs and address the shortcomings.

He also gave directives to verify whether the rented real estates, which are allocated for collective residence in the two regions, meet the health and security requirements. The Premier also gave directives to prevent random leasing of property, being a phenomenon that harms the citizens in Hoora and Gudaibiya through the practices that are alien to Bahraini traditions, customs and values.

PM extends Eid greetings

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has extended Eid Al-Adha greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain citizens and Muslims all over the world, wishing them many happy returns.

Praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow rewards on Haj pilgrims, HRH Premier lauded Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, for providing ample facilities to perform Haj rituals easily and comfortably.
