Futsal League: KFH one of the golden sponsors

Manama : HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities expressed his appreciation to Kuwait Finance House (KFH) for offering support and golden sponsorship of the Fifth Edition of Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls.

The event is being held under the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid under the slogan #Generations_Meeting, the league was launched on July 24 and will continue to September 14. It includes 59 teams that represent youth centres in Bahrain, local clubs, people with disabilities and girls’ teams for the first time.

Shaikh Khalid thanked KFH’s for its generous support to the league.

Meanwhile, Minister of Sports Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder received Abdul-Hakeem Al-Khayat, CEO of KFH, in the presence of Omar Abdulaziz Bukamal the Head of the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and discussed the different activities of Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Al Boori, Head of the Equipment Committee of the League said it is concerned about providing the necessary equipment to the all the parties that are participating in the league.

Also during the league, Lulwa Mohammed Ashoor, Health Education Supervisor at the Ministry of Interior presents daily lectures on how to deal with injuries and emergencies.

She gives medical and first aid advice and instructions to the players and administrators of the participating teams on the sidelines of the league and focuses on the common and dangerous tongue swallowing injuries which could lead to fatal results.

Ashoor stresses that calmness and focus is important to save the life of  the injured and provide first-aid on the field.

The organising committee also displays Ashoor’s advices and instructions on the large screens in the venue of the league.
