Get ready for an evening with Gascoigne

Manama : Former England International Paul Gascoigne now aged 50 will be in Bahrain with “An Evening with Gazza” on 13 October at the Radisson Diplomat Hotel courtesy of SportsSpeaker MENA.

It promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment and footballing hilarity, insight and never heard before stories from the footballing legend Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne who is a seriously funny guy. Hear his
stories from his days in club and international football plus his off the field tales, which will not disappoint.

Gascoigne started his career with Newcastle United in 1985 and went on to play with Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio in Italy, Rangers of Scotland and back to England with Middlesbrough.

Gascoigne represented England on 57 occasions, scoring 10 goals and also played for the Under-21 and England B teams as well. His league career saw him make 468 appearances scoring 110 goals in total.

The larger than life character won a FA Youth Cup in 1985 with Newcastle, the FA Cup in 1991 with Tottenham, two league titles, one Scottish FA Cup and one Scottish League Cup medal with Rangers and was the PFA Young Player of the Year in 1987-88 and BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 1990.

The evening includes a speech from Gazza, dinner, comedian compere Jerry Earl, an audience Q&A, Sports Memorabilia and prize giveaways and the dress code is smart casual.
