Physical literacy programme set

Manama : An initiative by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President is underway to promote physical literacy in the Bahrain society.

This plan will cover 20 girls and boys government schools all over Bahrain. 

Among targeted schools are Arad Primary Girls School, Al Oroba Primary Girls School, Al Khwarizmi Primary Boys School, Omar Abdulaziz Primary Boys School, Busaiteen Primary Boys School in Muharraq.

In the Capital Governorate, Raba’a Al Adawiya and Um Ayman Primary Girls Schools, Al Ala’a Al Hadrami, Al Razi and Al Yarmouk intermediate boys schools will be the venues for similar events. Karrana, Al Nozha Hamad Town, Osama Bin Zaid and Barbar Primary Girls Schools will host the seminars set for the Northern Governorate, while the Southern Governorate seminars will be held at Bit Al Hekma and Almustaqbal Primary Girls Schools, Oqba bin Nafea, Malik bin Anas and Al Imam Al Tabari primary boys schools.

20 certified coaches, chosen by the academy will be presenting their respective seminars throughout the programme. They are Ali Kuwayed, Ali Hussain, Maryam Mardana, Ahmed Hafed, Said Shihab Mousa, Fatma Bursheuid, Abdulla Isa, Khalid Taj, Kareem Al Anzoor, Ali Al Anzoor, Adel Al Asfoor, Yusra Jawad, Hisham Abduljalil, Dr Hussain Al Asfoor, Mohammed Al Mutawa, Rana Al Alawi, Khalid Abdulla, Abdulla Al Dakheel, Mohammed Ali and Mohammed Bakhsh.
