Bahrain gets ready for Arabian Cricket Carnival

ManamaBahrain Cricket Center (BCC) and KHK MMA Bahrain has announced a major cricketing event in Bahrain “The Arabian Cricket Carnival (ACC) T-20 2017” that will take place from September 27 to October 6 at Bahrain National Stadium, Isa Town.

The event will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa with the collaboration of Z Events and Entertainment (ZEE) and Global Herald Sports Event Ltd. (GHSE)

A number of Bollywood and Lollywood celebrities as well as cricketers are expected to take part in the event. The organisers said that stars including Kangana Ranut, Jackie Shroff, John Abraham, Sohail Khan, Gauhar Khan, Arjun Rampal have confirmed to be part of the event.

The event is a concept that is expected to transform the games popularity to an altogether a different level of “CRICKETAINMENT”. It is the future of the modern game and the perfect tool to take the game across unexplored boundaries, the organisers said.

The event will feature some of the best new and young talented cricketers representing their countries (clubs).

The organisers have assured that every effort will be made to make the event full of excitement and entertaining. 

The event will be televised live by SONY TV internationally who will also collaborate with ESPN sports/OSN and BTV with 72 hours of live coverage booked.

This event is also expected to encourage sports tourism and attract both regional and a wider international community to visit the country and create spillover effects in other sectors such as hospitality, education, and healthcare. 

Teams of 12 players from around the GCC will come together to play against each other, with every team being given 4 international players.
