ManamaCourt of Cassation President also Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Deputy President, Advisor Abdulla bin Hassan Ahmed Al-Buainain paid an inspection visit to the new Family Courts Complex in West Riffa, which was opened yesterday. The court also held its first session.

The new three-story complex comprises 16 courts, offices for family conciliations and other supporting offices.

Advisor Al-Buainain said the new Family Courts Complex reflects the development of the judicial and legal system concerned with legal protection to families in the Kingdom.

He added that the new complex is the realisation of the royal order to set up an independent building for family courts, which highlights HM the King’s support for the recommendations of the Third National Conference for Bahraini Women held under the patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women.
