Dr Rantanen visit begins
Manama : Dr Jussi Rantanen has arrived in Bahrain for another round of consultations at the National Sports Medicine Centre, which is under the umbrella of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
The Finnish surgeon’s three-day trip begins today for his fifth visit to Bahrain, which is part of the centre’s annual plan to provide the best quality medical treatment services for both Bahraini and expats athletes and non-athletic patients.
Dr Al Shaikh said the centre hopes to take advantage of this visit to continue to offer his consultancy to contribute to the recovery of national and international athletes. Dr Rantanen has already performed two surgeries, including one for national football defender Abdulla Al Hazza.
