Brave to boost economy

Manama BRAVE International Combat Week is expected to recirculate at least $3.5 million to the local economy, a top official at KHK Holdings said. 

According to Alexandra Eyers, Chief Business Development Officer of KHK Holdings, “The numbers could exceed the expectations due to the sheer volume of the audience who will be arriving at Bahrain during the International Combat Week.”

Bahrain is preparing to host BRAVE International Combat Week from 12 to 19 November at Khalifa Sports city, Isa Town. The 2017 Brave International Combat Week is expected to bring athletes from at least 35 nations to the Kingdom of Bahrain and will reach to an audience of more than 1.1 million worldwide.

“Hosting the International Combat Week will elevate the demand for travel, hospitality, services and retail sectors,” added Alexandra Eyers. 

The 2017 IMMAF World Championships, held under the patronage of His Highness  Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, will bring together athletes from over 30 different nations  to compete at the Amateur level. 

Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions held under the initiative of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities will feature over 30 professional athletes from over 20 nationalities.
