School assembly cut short due to harsh weather in Bahrain
Manama : The school morning assembly has been reduced to five minutes only due to harsh temperature and humidity.
Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi to hold morning assemblies inside sport halls or shaded areas and restrict the procedure to the national anthem and main instructions.
Schools which lack sports halls and shaded areas were allowed to hold morning assemblies inside classrooms until the weather conditions improve.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi has also directed all schools to ease demands on students and avoid overburdening parents with unnecessary demands.
School are equipped with cutting edge digital technology which spares students the need to rely on conventional learning methods.
