Manama Entrepreneurship Week 2017 from October 28

Manama : Manama Entrepreneurship Week 2017 will be held from October 28 to November 2 in association with Tamkeen and Ahli United Bank (AUB), Governor of the Capital Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa announced yesterday.” 

The event themed “to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” is aimed at boosting the skills and capabilities of youth to set up their own start-ups. A series of seminars will be held as part of the event. Experts will speak on the techniques and innovative ideas at the seminar.

An agreement was signed with Noora Al Haddad, CEO of Creo Innovative Solutions to organize the event. 

Manama Entrepreneurship Week in its first and second editions witnessed the participation of 5,000 Bahraini youth who benefited from the training aimed at developing capabilities and potentials and to qualify themselves for joining in the field of business.

Shaikh Hisham pointed out that the Capital governorate is organizing such events to boost the Kingdom’s economic development and support economic diversification. 

The governorate adopted a series of initiatives to boost youth capabilities and potentials. The governorate previously organized a jobseekers’ training programme for residents in the Capital governorate.
