Top experts, officials to speak at 8th GPCA fertiliser convention
Manama : Some of the world’s leading experts in the fertiliser industry will be in Bahrain to take part in the 8th Gulf Petrochemical and Chemical Association (GPCA) Fertiliser Convention.
The event, from September 26 to 28, being held at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa, will also host leading industrial leaders from the Gulf and beyond.
Participants will discuss important issues, including the potential impact of changes in fertiliser trade, key factors of future growth, and topics related to creating a stable environment, re-create global distribution channels, and link innovation to business.
It will also showcase the latest and most important regional and global technological developments in the industry.
The conference is being organised under the patronage of Minister of Oil Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who will speak on the support of governments in the Gulf for the fertiliser industry and help them overcome challenges and to counter instability.
Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) Chief Executive Officer Khalid Al Madifar, Secretary General of the International Fertiliser Industry Association (IFA) Charlotte Hebebrand; National Chemical Information Advisory Centre Chief Executive Officer Peter Huang and Maire Tecnimont Innovation Centre Vice President Robert Sumlders will address the delegates.
