Confident Tahar aims for big win

ManamaFrench-Algerian Welterweight, Tahar Hadbi announced that he will fight against Mohammed Fakhreddine from Lebanon at Brave 9 hosted in Bahrain.

Tahar revealed that he will be visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain for the first time.  He promised his fans to defeat his opponent in style. Tahar criticised Fakhreddine for his lack of consistency in making weight for the fights.

Meanwhile, Fakhreddine is one of the iconic athletes from the Arab world having an impressive record of 10 wins and only 1 loss. The former Desert Force middleweight champion is comfortable wherever the fight goes and is currently on a 6 fight winning streak.

Fakhreddine made his Brave debut at Brave 4, scoring a TKO victory against the Marcus Vinicius from Brazil, then fought at Brave 6 against the Lukasz Witos from Poland, also winning by TKO.

Holding a professional record of 13 wins and 6 loses, Tahar is on a 3 fight winning streak. Having finished many his fights via TKO, Hadbi is a mixed martial arts veteran who could be next in line for a welterweight title shot if he is able to break Fakhreddine’s momentum and hand him his first lost in a very long time. If this fight were to happen, it will be one of the largest and most anticipated fights at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions to take place at Khalifa Sports City on November 17th.
