Work hard to achieve further success, says Shaikh Nasser

ManamaUnder the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and in the presence of Personal Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of Nasser Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Centre HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, a graduation ceremony was held yesterday for the centre’s first batch of 131 students.

Honouring outstanding students at the ceremony, Shaikh Nasser told the graduates to “continue working hard to achieve further success and contribute to the growth and prosperity of Bahrain.”

The event was held in the presence of Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Dr Mutafa Sayed, Education Minister Dr Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, UAE Education Minister Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi and several other top officials and guests.

Shaikh Nasser paid tribute to HM the King for his interest and support to contemporary education and commended the government’s support under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. 

Speaking on the occasion, Al Hammadi told the students that Nasser Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Centre mirrors utmost keenness of Bahrain leadership to rehabilitate and train Bahraini youngsters. 

The Centre, Al Hammadi said, enjoys direct support from Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and President of Abu Dhabi Executive Council Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“The centre was equipped to parallel the UAE pioneering experience represented by Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI)’s Secondary Technical School,” the UAE Minister said.  

He also pointed out the continuous care and unrelenting follow-up of Shaikh Nasser since the opening of the centre on December 29, 2014. 

Dr Mutafa Sayed expressed heartfelt congratulations to HM the King and Shaikh Nasser on the success of the project. He also thanked the Education Minister for the ministry’s role in the project’s success and the Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for his tremendous support.
