BD6.5m meat subsidy to be disbursed
Manama : The Ministry of Labour and Social Development said that preparations have been finalized to deposit the quarterly meat subsidy compensation for October, November and December.
The amount of BD6,557,957.500 will be deposited into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts in the beginning of October in favour of 153,568 Bahraini families.
The compensation is defrayed by the government each three months as part of the method of redirection of meat subsidy to the citizens as per a Cabinet Resolution dated May 18, 2015 regarding the implementation of the new method of compensation after the previous meat subsidy system was cancelled.
