KHCB awarded PCI DSS certification
Manama : Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) has been awarded Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS v3.2) certification from the Middle East’s leading Qualified Security Assessor, SISA Information Security WLL.
Tawfeeq Mohamed Bastaki, Acting Chief Executive Officer of KHCB, received the international certificate granted for the bank’s compliance with the latest banking standards measuring security and confidentiality of card holding customers’ data through their banking transactions.
“I would like to thank the team that worked on this strategic project for their great endeavours towards this achievement and SISA Information Security WLL,” said Bastaki. Commenting, Dharshan Shanthamurthy from SISA Information Security Worldwide said: “KHCB is a leading example in Bahrain due to keenness to safeguard customer data, which is of utmost importance as demonstrated by the obtainment of such an international accreditation.”
