Pacatiw returns to Brave to face Jalal Al Daaja

Mañama : Philippines makes its impact felt yet again after Jeremy Pacatiw is chosen to face veteran fighter from Jordan Jalal Al Daaja.

Pacatiw has been one of the most successful stars who emerged in the year with stunning victories. The rising star from Team Lakay had two victories against well established talent from India and Brazil. The phenomenal Bantamweight fighter from Philippines is on a two-international fight win streak and will look to improve his record by facing Jordan’s Jala Al Daaja at Brave 9, on November 17 in Bahrain. Pacatiw became one of the most popular fighters coming out of the Philippines after beating Chaitanya Gavali via split decision at Brave 5 and by knocking out Thiago Dela Coleta at Brave 8 in Brazil.

Now he faces another international challenge, with experienced striker Jalal Al Daaja. Al Daaja had a good performance at Brave 4 but ended up being submitted by Frans Mlambo only a minute before the end of the third round.

The introduction of Jeremy marks the introduction of second athlete from Philippines to compete in the massive fight card scheduled in Bahrain. Stephen Loman had already been scheduled to fight Gurdarshan Mangat for the Bantamweight Championship at Brave 9.

Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions marks the promotion’s return to the Kingdom of Bahrain after a year spent expanding its operations and putting on groundbreaking events in countries such as Brazil (twice), Mexico, India, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.

Brave 9 will be the culmination of the International Combat Week, alongside the IMMAF World Championships, under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
