Registration continues for MMA Championship
Manama : Registration is continuing for the participating fighters in the World Amateur MMA Championship to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 12-19, under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee.
It is jointly organised by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF).
Organisers announced that more than 300 fighters from different countries have so far registered and the number of fighters is expected to increase in the next few days.
Committee members affirmed that the preparations for the championship will continue throughout the next month.
They confirmed that Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town would be the venue of the championship and Golden Tulip Hotel as the official residence of the visiting delegations. They also announced that several events and activities will be held on the sidelines of the championship, including the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) Congress on November 17 and Brave Championship on the same day.
