Booth to face Selawe
Manama : Carl Booth has announced his return to Bahrain in his latest interview held in the United Kingdom. Carl is set to face Jarrah Al Selawe on November 17th. Booth has visited Bahrain during the second edition of Brave which was also hosted in the Khalifa Sports City.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain is now a leading combat sports destination attracting athletes and professionals from the sports media industry. The dynamic growth of Bahrain in combat sports is due to systematic planning, implementation and leadership by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The nation is welcoming and is open minded to accept new concepts and to work relentless towards goals,” commented Booth.
With regards to his next opponent Jarrah Al Selawe from Jordan who he will face during Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, Carl Booth was confident. “I’m fairly confident either way, and I know he has improved. He is a lot more well rounded, but I am confident in another knockout. I know he is not stronger than Harris. If he wants to wrestle with me it will just give me the opportunity to show my new skills.”
Brave 9 will be the culmination of the International Combat Week, alongside the IMMAF World Championships under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
