Pedestrian killed near Maameer
Manama : A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle near Maameer, according to the Interior Ministry.
The incident occurred on Thursday night in the Capital Governorate, while the man, an Asian national, was trying the cross Shaikh Jaber Al Subah Highway.
Interior Ministry, in a statement, confirmed the incident saying: “The man was on-foot when a vehicle hit him near Maameer.”
The ministry said relevant procedures were taken.
