Alba appoints new Chief Admin Officer
Manama : Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, announced the appointment of Waleed Tamimi as the Chief Administration Officer following Alba’s Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Alba.
Congratulating Waleed on his appointment, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray said, “Waleed embodies the principle of Alba to develop its people from within the Company. He has been at the forefront of Alba’s continuous improvement strategy and operational excellence initiatives.”
Waleed joined Alba in 2011 as a Master Black Belt Specialist in the Operational Excellence Department. He was promoted to Manager Operational Excellence in 2013 and then appointed as the Manager for Strategic Supply & Planning in 2014. In December 2016, Waleed Tamimi was appointed as the acting Director of Administration in which capacity he spearheaded the Company’s various administration departments.
